Before cleaning always test your cleaning method in a small inconspicuous spot or area first.

Curtains, Pelmets & Swags & Tails

Cleaning of curtain fabrics will depend on the fabric. All soft & specialty furnishings manufactured by Decor Blinds and Curtains are affixed with a care label that will detail how the material needs to be cleaned.

If the care label allows dry cleaning we insist on you getting them done by professional curtain drycleaners. For regular maintenance curtains should be vacuumed with a soft bristled attachment.

Pelmets and Swags and Tails can be vacuumed with a soft attachment to keep the dust off.

Rollers

All of our blind fabrics are stain release for easy care. If any marks appear on the fabric these can be removed by applying a strip of masking tape to the affected area and pulling it off straight away. Alternatively if this does not work gently rub the fabric with a clean white eraser. Regularly maintain your blinds by dusting with a feather duster.

Romans

Venetians

Venetians should be maintained with regular dusting. If they should become dirty we recommend getting them professionally cleaned by specialist blind cleaners.

Verticals

All of our blind fabrics are stain release for easy care. Our standard Vertical fabric range can be cleaned by wiping over the slats with mild soapy water.
